Tik tok, tik tok, is time running out for TikTok?
With the possible ban of TikTok by Bill S. 686, otherwise known as the RESTRICT Act , looming over the Internet, other social media apps are lining up to take its place as one of the most popular platforms amongst Millennials and Gen Z. Already used apps like Instagram, YouTube, and Snapchat are tough competitors with their recent developments of Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Snapchat Spotlight that all mimic TikTok’s much loved short form video sharing characteristic.
