The Switch We Were Waiting For

If you have gone into the campus center, you have likely seen something different. Maybe you can’t put your finger on it, but something with the bookstore looks a little different.

Previously called Barnes and Noble, it is now the Follett bookstore. With more than 1,100 campuses across the country, Follett is one of the largest bookstore chains on college campuses.

After speaking to five major companies as the UAFS bookstore, Follett was chosen to represent UAFS and provide the best services for students.

While the bookstore may have changed names, the services have remained the same. You will still be able to rent textbooks instead of buying them to save money. There is still plenty of UAFS merchandise in the bookstore. Everything students need will still be provided through Follett whether in the store or online.

Through this change however, Follett was able to keep all the friendly faces you knew and loved from Barnes and Noble. However, despite contacting them they declined to make any comments regarding the switch. The bookstore will keep similar hours, open Monday through Thursday from 7:45 AM - 5:00 PM and Friday from 7:45 AM to 4:00 PM. With any questions you can reach them via phone at 479-788-7320 or email DaWaina.Clark@uafs.edu.
