The second annual Fort Smith International Film Festival will kick off in less than two weeks at TempleLive in downtown Fort Smith.

The film festival will show 137 films from over 30 countries worldwide. With so many films from around the globe that are a part of this year's film festival, it allows the public to see different perspectives and ways of life from their own.

The festival will be held from August 26th through August 27th at TempleLive.

According to the film festival's website, tickets start at $10 and can be purchased online. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. on opening night, and attendees can watch six documentary/short films and hear from several special guests and a keynote speaker.

On August 27th, the rest of the 137 films will screen from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. in four different rooms in TempleLive. V.I.P. ticketholders will be able to attend panels by many directors throughout the day on the 27th, too.
