Is it too Early for Christmas Decorations?

As the clock struck midnight on October 31st pushing us swiftly into November 1st, many people blew out the candle in their Jack-o-lanterns and quickly plugged in their blinking red and green string lights for their trees. As some mourn the end of spooky season, Halloween, others are getting their stretchy pants ready for the Thanksgiving feasts of the future, and the rest are cranking up Mariah Carey's “All I Want For Christmas is You” and throwing tinsel on their trees.
This begs the question, how early is too early to get into the holiday spirit? Whether that's just listening to music, wearing holiday themed clothing, or going all out and decorating your home and yard. A study in 2019 found that around 43% of Americans are ready to put up Christmas decorations before November 1st, ready to skip Halloween altogether. What the rest of the 57% are doing is unsaid.
Is there a wrong time to start your Holiday celebrations? Is it right to judge those that want to bring the Christmas spirit into the comfort of Thanksgiving? Who knows, as long as you are happy with the way you celebrate and surround yourself with others who feel the same.
Happy Holidays to all no matter what you choose to celebrate first.
